GROUP AND JUNIOR ENGLISH COURSES
At Capital School
of English we place a lot of importance on learning the language from an
early age. To this extent we have created some fantastic courses for
young learners and Junior Groups.
By creating a
programme specifically designed to fit in with your current studies the
school's aim is to help your group to get the greatest benefit from your
visit to the UK. This is why it is so important to us that we start
talking about your groups' needs and expectations from an early stage.
To this end we encourage Group Leaders and Parent Representative's to
visit the school, if possible, to see what we offer and to discuss the
groups' specific needs.
At all times it is
important that the courses are designed to be fun and interactive with the
emphasis on vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking and listening, designed to
meet the exact requirements of the group.
It is also important
that students experience studying in a multi-cultural environment, this
helps build understanding and creates friendships that encompass the
world.
Interacting not only
with your group, but with other students is an important part of learning
at Capital School of English and we like to make it as much fun as
possible. Our Social Organiser is here to make the 'out of class'
activities as rewarding as the English lessons.
We offer a range of
activities; volleyball, football, bowling, table-tennis, crazy golf,
swimming, adventure trails, treasure hunts, beach games, karaoke,
BBQ and much, much more.
Additional Facilities
Due
to the continued success of our Groups and Juniors programme we have
acquired additional facilities at the nearby Arts Institute & Enterprise
Centre - especially for the Juniors. The AIB, established in 1885 as a
specialist institute, is now a leading university sector institution
offering high quality specialist education in arts, design and media
across the creative industries.

Capital School of English have secured use of a number of classrooms at
the AIB during the Summer 2008 that will enable us to provide a bespoke
programme of study and activities, yet only 10 minutes from the main
school and with easy access to Bournemouth's premier facilities.
Excursions
Whilst in the UK it's
important that the students get to experience the cultural heritage of our
language, therefore we run a number of trips, the most popular
destinations include: London, Oxford, Bath, Winchester, Salisbury &
Stonehenge and the breathtaking Jurassic Coast, theme parks. Again we consult with the
Group Leaders in the early stages to ensure that the students gain from
these excursions and that their course work reflects these visits to key
venues in the UK.
Accommodation & Welfare
We place a lot of
importance on the hosting of all our students. We try to match individual
students, who have their own requirements, with families selected by the
school. At all times we are in communication with the Group Leaders to
ensure that their students are happy at their home from home as this
obviously can have a dramatic effect on their overall enjoyment and
experience at the School.
We have developed two
packages that we feel best suit our students. These packages work as a
foundation for your own specific requirements. The importance is to ensure
that together we produce a programme that provides a balanced approach to
learning and the cultural experience of the UK at Capital School of
English.
