Activities are organised weekly and shown on the school social activities board. These include weekend guided tours to different places of interest in the UK or half-day trips to local tourist spots, such as the famous Stonehenge and Corfe Castle which are always popular. Other activities include international school parties, as well as cinema and museum trips.
Capital School of English encourages you to take part in a range of sporting activities including football, volleyball and tennis. There are also sporting activities organised with other schools. Other sports, such as golf, sailing, ten-pin bowling and horse-riding can be arranged on request. There is also a gym and swimming pool within a 10 minute walk of the school. What can I do at weekends? There
are day trips on offer most weekends - these include visits to famous
tourist destinations, such as London, Bath, Cambridge, Stratford-upon-Avon,
Oxford, Warwick Castle, the Dorset Coast and West End Theatre breaks.
London
is less than two hours by train from Bournemouth. The train station
is only minutes from the School and there are fast trains every hour.
