LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN BOURNEMOUTH - ACCOMMODATIONWe offer host family accommodation for our language school in Bournemouth because:
We have a wide selection of host families affiliated with our language school in Bournemouth to suit a variety of needs all within easy reach of the school. The accommodation is generally located between 10 to 25 minutes walk or a short bus ride from the language school. We take particular care in selecting our accommodation to ensure a safe, clean, comfortable and friendly environment for you to learn English in Bournemouth. The Language School’s Accommodation Officer monitors the quality of service offered by host families on a regular basis. What is host family accommodation? It means to be hosted with an English family, providing a homely atmosphere in a safe and secure environment and an excellent opportunity to speak and learn English outside of the language school classes. The accommodation comprises a single or a twin room on a half board basis with breakfast and evening meal Monday to Sunday and additional light lunch at weekends. Most students choose host family accommodation when they are studying at the language school in Bournemouth because it allows them to get to know a new culture and provides the best opportunity to practice and learn the English language. Single rooms are available all year round; twin rooms are also available, primarily in the summer, at other times of the year they are generally used only by request, for example, if you come with a friend, family or with an organised group. Some host families can host up to three adults or four junior students from the language school sharing the house at one time. This type of accommodation is classified as a Homestay and the student(s) will have more regular and direct contact with the hosts. When the student stays in a larger household, with more than four students at one time, the host family arrangement will be called a Private Home. At Capital School of English, we ask our host families, whether they are homestay or private home, to give the same quality of service and contact to our students. Please note that when completing your enrolment form you should inform the language school of any requirements you might have, for example, special diets, dislike of pets, allergies, etc. This information is very important for us as it will help us to select the appropriate hosts for you. When can I arrive at the language school in Bournemouth? You should plan to arrive on a Saturday or Sunday before your English course starts and depart on a Saturday or Sunday after your English course finishes. Arrival details should be provided to the school in advance. Can I change my host family accommodation? You can change your accommodation under special circumstances, you must give at least one week’s notice to the Accommodation Officer at the language school in order for us to try and find a suitable alternative (a charge may be made according to the circumstances).
