Adult Residential Centre - Summer English Courses

During the summer term at Capital School of English Adult students stay in the international student residence which is located on campus at the Arts University College Bournemouth or at one of our Town Centre Residences. (See dates). These residences are a great place to meet other students studying at the school.

The facility comprises:

• Private single en-suite rooms
• On Campus or Town Centre
• Duvet, duvet covers, bed sheet and pillow case provided
• Communal kitchens
• Washing facilities
• Weekly cleaning service (included)
• Wifi throughout the residence

Other facilities include:

• Student refectory open all day serving breakfast , lunch and dinner (extra costs apply)
• Use of the University Sports centre for activities arranged through the school (extra costs apply)
• On site staff 24hrs/day

Booking Details:

• The summer is an incredibly busy time and the accommodation is available on a first come first served basis. (See Dates)
• All interested students must complete the enquiry or enrolment form online (Contact & Enrol)
• You will be advised about availability and full payment of your course and accommodation is required to be paid in full and in advance

Arrival and Departure Details:

• All students choosing our residential accommodation must aim to arrive and depart on a Sunday
• All rooms are turned around on a Sunday.
• You will be asked to vacate your room by 10 am on the Sunday as all rooms will be cleaned for the next student.
• Rooms will become available for new students at 3pm on the Sunday
• You will receive your own door key for the residence and your own room.

Fees:

• An arrangement fee of £50 (non refundable) is required for finding homestay/residential accommodation to suit the needs of the student. It does not apply to a student that does not require accommodation
• Room Rate for a single with en-suite is £150 on a per week per student basis (no sharing) for the 2011 summer season
• A returnable deposit (£40) will be required on arrival for your key

You will be advised about availability on application and full payment of your course and accommodation is required to be paid in full and in advance.

Summer Collective Transfers - ADULTS - Direct Students Only

Available from Sunday 24 June until Sunday 2 September 2012.

The school will operate 2 different services detailed below:

Option 1 (Collective School Transfer):

• This service is available for individual adult students requiring to be picked up and returned to Heathrow Airport (Sundays Only).
• The school operates a coach transfer on Sundays only and is applicable for students arriving or departing on flights between 10am and 3pm.
• The school has a number of staff based at the airport responsible for meeting students off flights and transferring them back to Bournemouth.
• All staff will be wearing school uniform and will be in possession of a staff identity card.

Option 2 (School Taxi Transfer):

• This service is available to ALL students travelling outside of the collective transfer window to take them to their accommodation.
• The school works with a local authority registered courier company and all named drivers are issued the students exact details enabling a secure and stress free collection and transfer to Bournemouth.
• New regulations introduced by UKBA have highlighted the need for schools to operate with the welfare of the students in mind.

(Please note that if a taxi is shared an extra £10 per person per drop off/collection will be added to the cost)

Please also note that during the Summer season, from 24 June 2012 to 1 September 2012, a surcharge of £20 each way will apply to any taxi booked regardless of which airport, due to the rise in prices during the Olympic season.
