Junior English Summer School - Individual Package

Whether your aim is to learn a new language or to improve your English skills, this is the right course for you and will help you to build your confidence and meet some new friends along the way. Capital School of English in Bournemouth provides tuition covering: the use of English, listening, reading, writing and spoken English courses, so as to reach an understanding of native speakers and to be able to communicate with confidence and fluency.

Add to this to the fun of learning on a purpose built campus surrounded by students of a similar age where everything is close by with teachers who believe that learning should be fun. Mix in a group of social organisers whose day is all about enjoyment for the students, whether it’s playing football or volleyball on the beach, introducing you to the fine art of cricket or guiding you through the sites and sounds of some of England’s beautiful historic towns and cities.

• Note: During the busy Summer Term accommodation is arranged on a Sunday to Sunday basis only - any requirements outside of this will need to be made with School by arrangement and could incur additional charges

Transfers

From 2010 it will be a requirement for all unaccompanied students 16 years old or younger to use the school pick up service.

This service will be available from Sunday 27th June until Sunday 29th August 2010.

The school will operate 2 different services detailed below:

Option 1 (Collective School Transfer):
This service is available for individual junior students requiring to be picked up and returned to Heathrow Airport (Sundays Only). The school operates a coach transfer on Sundays only and is applicable for students arriving on flights between 10am and 3pm. The school has a number of staff based at the airport responsible for meeting students off flights and transferring them back to Bournemouth. All staff will be wearing school uniform and will be in possession of a staff identity card. All students requiring this service will need to bring with them the letter of consent from the Parents detailing who will be responsible for them. * please see a sample of the document

Option 2 (School Taxi Transfer):
This service is available to students travelling outside of the collective transfer window and it will be mandatory for all students 16 and under to order a school taxi to pick them up from the airport and to take them to their home stay accommodation. The school works with a local authority registered courier company and all named drivers are issued the students exact details enabling a secure and stress free collection and transfer to Bournemouth. New regulations introduced by UKBA have highlighted the need for schools to operate with the welfare of the students in mind. Capital School of English prides itself on the service offered to all its students and this service gives not only the young travellers but also their parents’ peace of mind that their child will be picked up safely on arrival and also checked in** on their departure date.

**Any 16 year old or under travelling by taxi has to pay an "Airport drop off supplement" of £40 in order to get them checked in for departures only.
