Other day trips from Bournemouth take in many of the popular tourist destinations including:
- The historic Naval Dockyards of Portsmouth where you can visit Nelson’s flag ship The Victory
- The New Forest where you can visit Beaulieu and The National Motor Museum
- Lymington’s Saturday street market and a town renowned for its sailing
- Winchester, with it’s Cathedral and history as the capital of Anglo Saxon Britain
- Christchurch and its wonderful Priory
- Salisbury, another historic market town and its Cathedral not forgetting nearby Stonehenge
- Poole’s ‘old town’ and quay where you can take a boat to Brownsea Island
