Publicity Photography - Young Learners
During their period of stay at Capital School of English we regularly take photographs and videos of the students enjoying themselves whilst on school trips and during classroom activities which we may use for publicity purposes.
We understand that for whatever reasons you may not like your child to be included in these photographs, if this is the case please can you indicate clearly on your child's enrollment form that you do not wish them to be included in any images that may be used for school publicity.
Our Standard Terms for Photographic Release of images is as follows:
For valuable consideration, I hereby confer on Capital School of English the absolute and irrevocable right and permission with respect to the photographs that they have taken of my minor child in which he/she may be included with others:
a) To copyright the same in Capital School of English’s name or any other name that he/she may select;
b) To use, re-use, publish and re-publish the same in whole or in part, separately or in conjunction with other photographs, in any medium now or hereafter known, and for any purpose whatsoever, including (but not by way of limitation) illustration, promotion, advertising and trade, and;
c) To use my name or my child’s name in connection therewith if they so decide.
I hereby release and discharge Capital School of English from all and any claims and demands ensuing from or in connection with the use of the photographs, including any and all claims for libel and invasion of privacy.
This authorisation and release shall inure to the benefit of the legal representatives, licensees and assigns of the photographer as well as Capital School of English for whom he/she took the photographs.
I have read the foregoing and fully understand the contents hereof. I represent that I am the [parent/guardian] of the named individual. I hereby consent to the foregoing on his/her behalf.
It is understood that you have read and understood these conditions and by clicking the submit button when you enrol a Young Learner (under 18) you will have accepted them.
